Monthly Awards

The Monthly Premier League Awards for January 2023 were announced last evening. Our very own Alan McCready managed to get in at the 3rd spot after a tight month with only 2 points separating him from Brian Laws who took top honors. Ciro Ferrara of Newcastle grabbed 2nd allthough level on points with McCready

Player of the month went to ex- Man Utd transfer target Horea Stangaciu. Fulham benefitted from the striker's 4 goals and 3 assists in 7 appearances. Stuart Gregory ( Bolton ) and Tim Dreesen grabbed 2nd and 3rd. No United player in the awards rolls since the start of the season. Its a little depressing ... but its been that kind of a season. No star performances but good team wins. Dave Robinson should have gotten in at some point one may argue, but oh well.

Young player of the month went to Nebosa Kuveljic who has been prolific for Notts Co. and completely deserves the award. United's Hristic wins second spot for his fantastic defensive performances following his call up to stand in the back four with Turk, Martinetti and Milan out with injuries and suspensions. At just 19 Hristic is showing a lot of promise for the future!. Daniel Page of coventry won 3rd with some decent performances for Coventry.
